For this project, my goal was to create a short video that engaged the viewer with the type on the screen. I ended up choosing the song ‘Lips Like Sugar’ for my content, which I felt captured the prompt of love I was given for this project. I wanted to create a short story out of the lyrics I chose, showing the eternal love between a man and woman which transcended physical beauty. Because of the content of my project, I felt a grittier and darker visual style was necessary. All of my illustrations/type were drawn in Procreate and edited further in Photoshop and all scenes were composited in Adobe After Effects.
